Mobility is an essential element of our freedom of movement, professional agility and the transportation of goods. However, traffic and pollution in major cities has become a real issue, not only for pedestrians and cyclists but also for motorists. I am convinced that we are at the dawn of a great mobility revolution, which will significantly improve life in urban environments. I would like to contribute even more actively to making cities more pleasant, less noisy and less polluted : - by accelerating the roll out of eco-friendly vehicles, in particular thanks to the new energies and technologies that the FIA motorsport championships are contributing to develop ; - by implementing mobility solutions and services with connected, shared, ecological and autonomous vehicles ; - by the development of new modes of public transport and multimodal solutions specifically adapted to local needs.
