I'm a software developer with a HBSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. I have experience working full stack and interacting with non-technical clients to design products for their needs. I have an interest in things involving UX and application design and development.
• Providing UX design/implementation solutions and feedback for Yoru reader application, a new web novel platform. • Tests UX/UI on usability, intuitiveness, and ease of usage and provide feedback to ensure competitive user experience. • Works closely with founders and design team to stay up to date with direction of project and ensure solutions fit the requirements of project goals. • Communicates with writers and founders to create and launch targeted marketing campaigns. • Pinpoints areas for AI application and prompt engineers solutions
• Prime developer for creating a survey application using Flutter that can be used infield and on a variety of operating systems to replace current pen and paper methodologies. • Chose best fit framework that would also be the easiest for continual upkeep and future proofing by researching app development methodologies. • Created a solid starting foundation and skeleton of application design and hardware choices to create a clear direction for the project and, thereby, smoothening development process. This was done by creating surveys and conducting interviews with field crews and other jurisdictions to gather information on issues they currently face, difficulties that they’ve encountered and since overcome, and preferred functionalities. • Found best fit of hardware by using user feedback from the surveys as well as personally setting up meetings with hardware vendors to discuss their products. • Enabling the smooth implementation of the application by keeping clear communication, setting up weekly sync ups with the survey team, and demo sessions. • Created and kept up to date clear and concise design documentation to facilitate information sharing and help with onboarding people new to the project. • Implements multiple changes to framework design and functionality based on shifting requirements.
• Prime LED developer for Waveserver 5 and ELS platform by creating a generic microservice using C and Yang interface. • By creating a generic LED microservice I sped up future development cycles by 80% for LEDs in other hardware platforms as hardware specific details could be added in via plugins instead of having to be completely redone. • Maintained open lines of communications by scheduling meetings with other designers and architects. This ensured cross platform compatibility, solving conflict requirements, and design new structures. • Created HLDs, design documentation, and testing scripts for ease of debugging as well as keeping track of changes in design and functionality. This sped up the design process, leaving more time to focus on implementation. • Created an online hub with documentation and links to useful resources for new hires to answer any potential questions and to help with setup during the onboarding process.
