was responsible for management of field operations and diplomatic relations through liaising with TFG authorities, Red Cross Red Crescent Movement partners, AMISOM and international organizations, developed sustainable and cooperative long-term relationships, conducted extensive needs assessments among IDPs, and accordingly developed operation-based implementation plans for sheltering, and distribution programs, planned and ensured timely and effective distribution of relief items to communities identified as beneficiaries, ensured that tenders and contract administration together with bilateral and multilateral agreements were prepared in accordance with institutional procedures (SOPs), planned and organized long-term rehabilitation initiatives such as reconstruction of public buildings in Mogadishu, participated in a multilateral working group which aimed to design a program facilitating return of IDPs to their places of origin in south regions of Somalia.
