I lead efforts to research, develop and apply AI to high-value, real-world use cases. My work translates state-of-the-art research into practical solutions for critical industries, including Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Technology, and others. My current technical focus involves advancing the frontier of AI through foundation model training improvements, agentic AI, data-centric AI, search and grounding, multimodality, and novel test-time methods. I have directed research projects that became foundational to major Google Cloud products, yielding significant business impact. With a PhD from Stanford and prior experience at Baidu's Silicon Valley AI Lab, I have co-authored over 100 publications.
