Working in Payroll in the Birmingham office I have multiple responsibilities such as: closing the shifts if they have been returned by the clients, if not, to chase it up with the clients and the staff in order to close them. Assisting with sorting out Pay Queries, verifying the details for the new starters and adding them on Tempaid. Issuing P45s for staff and updating their details on Tempaid (student loan, bank details). I am also using Comensura and e-tips Depoel to enter the hours worked by our staff for the clients and also NEST to enter the employee's and employer's pension contributions. Preparing files in Excel for Uploading on Tempaid or on our company's website. Apart from this I also try to help the London office team when needed with whatever they request.
Working for OTW, a leading agency in Hospitality and Events, I had the opportunity of working with many clients and also having many different job roles, from waiter all the way to Event Manager. It also helped during my studies as it provided me with flexibility and managed to work around my studies and also achieve some good job titles in terms of career progression. Key responsibilities: • As a Retail Manager at the Cheltenham Racecourses hired through my company I had to manage a whole area, train staff, make sure standards are met, food safety and quality, health and safety assessment are all up to standards. • Working as an Event Manager for the Vivid Christmas Parties at NEC Birmingham, I was the head cashier for the whole event, in charge of the safes, the tills, making the floats, counting up all the money from all 28 tills, ordering change, doing the accounting on excel every day for each event, balance sheet and banking up the money. • Also worked as a Supervisor in Baku, Azerbaijan for the first edition of the European Summer Games. Being in charge of serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight food totaling up to around 10,000 meals a day for the volunteers, the workers at the Olympics, the Media, the Broadcast team, the Athletes and managing it right throughout the day, working together with the team in delivering a great service every day of the event. • Team Leading at various clients throughout the UK, but also being a waiter, bartender, cocktail bartender, barista and driver when needed.
