• Led the contract management for significant renewable energy projects. • Conducted comprehensive contract due diligence assessments to evaluate project feasibility, risks, and potential for optimization. • Successfully prepared, negotiated, and managed critical agreements ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and optimizing financial performance such as Framework Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, Implementation Agreements, Grid Connection Agreements, and Off-taker Agreements for IPP projects as well as EPC, subcontractor, supply and consultancy agreements. • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to address claims and disputes, resolving issues promptly and maintaining strong client relationships. • Thoroughly reviewing contracts for projects under development or being prepared for tender to assess risks.
Managed contracts for various pivotal projects including; ✓ Atatürk Cultural Center, Taksim/İstanbul ✓ Tersane Istanbul Project, İstanbul ✓ Astana/ Nursultan Grand Mosque Project in Kazakhstan (the biggest in central Asia), ✓ Rixos Water World Hotel in Aktau, Kazakhstan (completed less than a year) ✓ Nazarbayev Center Administration Building • Managing a spectrum of contracts, including EPC contracts, subcontracts, supply contracts, and logistics agreements. This involves drafting, negotiating, and overseeing the contract lifecycle from preparation to post-signature management, encompassing progress payments and claim resolution. • In each project, contract processes were managed together with direct reports from on-site contract experts. Responsible for standardizing contract texts to suit each project and providing comprehensive on-site training for seamless implementation. Thorough monitoring of project progress, payment schedules, and contract compliance through regular site visits and inspections. Additionally, established and managed a communication internal and external network involving project managers, on-site teams, and subcontractors. • A notable achievement was the successful integration of a contract tracking system, previously absent within the company. This system was implemented and weekly reports were presented to the CEO.

The Projects involved are listed below; ✓ Allianz Tower Project, İstanbul (As a proficient Contract Manager, I held a pivotal role in orchestrating the sales contract for a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), notably featuring the prestigious Allianz Tower project—a towering 35-floor landmark situated in Ataşehir. During the intricate contract process, my role as a Contract Manager entailed close collaboration with legal, financial, and business management departments. This collaborative effort was crucial in meeting deadlines and achieving a successful contract closing, showcasing effective teamwork and coordination.) ✓ I was accountable for overseeing all contracts before the commencement of site works, spanning development, design, collaborations, engineering studies, and land development. This also involved managing all consultancy, necessary subcontractor, and equipment purchasing agreements.
