From 2006 to 2016, I developed a strong foundation in bioinformatics and molecular biology, focusing on gene function in abiotic and biotic stress in Brassica species. This work was recognized with the Dr. DS Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship (2016) for developing molecular markers for salinity tolerance in indigenous rice varieties from the Eastern Ghats, India. During this period, I advanced my expertise in NGS technologies, Linux environments, and scripting (R, Bash) at the NIAS Genomics Center, while strengthening my collaboration and project management skills. Since October 2022, I have been with 1st PhileKorea as a Field Application Scientist and Technical Support Manager, supporting platforms from NanoString, Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT), Singleron, and Alamar Biosciences. My work focuses on NGS, spatial biology (GeoMx, CosMx), single-cell genomics, and long-read sequencing workflows. I also work with tools such as NULISAseqR, delivering advanced data analysis, hands-on training, and end-to-end workflow support to help researchers generate meaningful biological insights and drive scientific innovation.
