- Scouting new disruptive technology across broad field for all EU. - Assessing impact on Toyota and responding: research, leveraging industrial partners, lobbying. - Representation of Toyota in EU associations: IAM4EU, ScienceBusiness, ERTRAC, etc.
- Project management: lead multiple major projects in brake design. - End to end responsibility: business case, objectives, schedules, resources, execution and follow up. - Key projects: Aygo X and C-HR brake development. Representing production volume >1m vehicles.
- Business strategy consulting, solving a procurement issue of an international jet engine company. - Demonstrated a savings potential of up to £10m annually, presented the result to VP of company. - Received intensive BCG training on slide writing, presenting, financial modeling, business strategy.
- Follow-up on placement year (see below), focus on transmission and pit equipment design.
- Design responsibility for Formula 1 car parts: from CAD design to overseeing production and quality. - Designed over 1000 parts, used on the F1 cars. Focus on bodywork, suspension & transmission. - Paused university studies to work full-time in UK for 13 months.
