As Construction manager initially then moving on into operation and maintenance, I went through the whole life of the project and left for Canada after 10years of successful operation (99.997% performance rate)
DISTRAL was awarded by B.P.X. a 200 MUSD turn key contract for the Early Production System of the Cusiana oil field. In this position, I was responsible of all the site aspects (mobilization, camp, relation with communities and local authorities, etc..) and managed the construction which included : Living quarters Storage tanks (350.000 bbl's total capacity) Four process trains of 48.000 bpd each consisting of: -Separators ( 4 units 40 to 84 Tons) -Compressors LP (4 units 600 HP/900 PSI) -Compressors HP (5 units 2650 HP/6400PSI) -Fin-Fan Coolers ( 8 units) Shipping Pumps (5 units 2120 HP) Generators (5 units 2120 HP/1565 KW) HP, LP, LT Flares and KO Drums Crude Topping Unit Sales Gas Plant Slug Catchers
