I am an Associate Professor in Psychological Counseling and Guidance at Ankara University, focusing on children’s and adolescents’ well-being in educational settings. My work lies at the intersection of child development, child counseling, school counseling and school adjustment. I have a strong interest in mindset approaches and their role in fostering resilience, motivation, and adaptive functioning among students. Alongside my research, I design and implement psychoeducational and peer-based intervention programs for children, adolescents, and families, with a focus on social-emotional learning and well-being. I am actively involved in international collaborations, including COST Actions, Erasmus projects etc. contributing to cross-cultural research on school climate, and student safety. My work aims to bridge research and practice by developing culturally responsive and scalable interventions that support inclusive and supportive learning environments.
