As Country Manager EssilorLuxottica Brazil, my role has been to merge and lead Essilor (lenses, optical instruments) and Luxottica (frames, sportswear) businesses Key achievements : - Building a unified marketing and sales organization. - Developing and implementing new packaged offers and services for our key accounts. - Repositioning Oakley® brand : product, branding, pricing, distribution. - Accelerating growth and profitability across all four of our business lines, including lenses (Varilux®, Transitions®, Kodak lens®…), frames (Ray-Ban®, Vogue®, Persol®....), sportswear (Oakley®), and optical instruments, through effective sales strategies and innovative marketing initiatives.
As Country Manager/CEO Brazil I was the proud leader of a team of 3500+ professionals spread all over Brazil dedicated to improving lives by improving sight. Key achievements : - Successfully designing and implementing a comprehensive 5-year strategic plan. - Spearheading multiple transformation initiatives including go-to market, industrial footprint and back-office optimizations, resulting in increased efficiency and profitability. - Innovating and launching new B2B tools to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction. - Demonstrating strong leadership during the Covid crisis by leading a cross-functional team to develop and implement a comprehensive EHS, HR, and Opex containment plan. - Building a high-performing executive team by redesigning the organizational structure and fostering talent acquisition to ensure continued success. Results : Brazil was one of the key growing businesses for the Group in 2018 and 2019 following a complete turnaround plan and successfully overcome the Covid-19 crisis. C-Sat increased dramatically over the period.
Leading a team of 130+ people including Key Accounts, sales force, medical delegates and overseas subsidiary Key achievements: - Redefining our strategy in France in response to a changing environment (regulatory, managed care). - Establishing strong B2B partnerships with opticians and doctors. - Fully transforming our sales approach including: redefining the B2B partnership program, reorganizing teams and territories, focusing on customer acquisition and breaking historical record in 2015, digitizing sales reps’ toolbox for increased effectiveness and improved customer experience. - Fostering a high-performing and winning mindset in the Essilor France sales team by developing a culture based on trust, empowerment, constant challenge but also a high dose of fun ! The result of all the above was that we constantly outperformed the market despite a very tough market environment.
