As an experienced designer with extensive knowledge in marketing and project management of digitalization projects, I consider design to be much more than aesthetic design. For me, design is the art of interpersonal interaction and the creation of real business value. My way of working is characterized by analysis, strategic planning and conceptual thinking. Since 2005, I have continuously developed my skills in various positions. As Head of Marketing & Product at Samdock, I developed a successful marketing and product strategy, organized workshops and managed a team of five employees. In my previous role as Head of E-Commerce & Marketing at Pier 7 Food Group, I not only designed marketing strategies, but also piloted an e-commerce system and coordinated marketing activities. As Digital Transformation Manager at Pier 7 Food Group, I was instrumental in the implementation of IT projects, infrastructure management and the introduction of ERP systems. My involvement ranges from managing the IT strategy to implementing data protection concepts and introducing e-commerce systems. My design approach is holistic and consulting-oriented. I believe in close collaboration, iterative working methods and realistic timelines as the key to successful projects. Only through communication, trust and hard work can creative and forward-thinking solutions emerge. My goal is to deliver customized solutions of the highest quality. I follow a consistent approach down to the last detail and strive for sustainable results. Through open and transparent processes and an ongoing exploration of new design topics, I constantly strive for progress and innovation. My commitment to active learning and research is reflected in my ongoing training. I am currently deepening my knowledge of business design, design thinking and user experience, while continuing to improve my project management skills. My educational background ranges from a solid education as a qualified communication & graphic designer, through various further training courses in web programming, project management and e-commerce management, to current courses in design thinking at IDEO U. In my career, I have not only achieved results, but also made valuable contributions as a lecturer and member of the executive committee of the Professional Association of German Communication Designers. My passion for design and my conviction of its crucial role in the business world continuously motivate me to take on new challenges and further developments.

For the PIER 7 Group, marketing is an extended arm of sales. Therefore, my focus was to use the resources of the department strategically in order to address the target group in the best possible way. PIER 7 Food Group was facing several challenges in the IT area when I started my position. The relocation of the headquarters had to be prepared and the management had decided on a new ERP system. The evaluation of the feasibility of these projects were my first steps and from this a very big change process for the company developed. PIER 7 Food Group is a company operating in the field of food wholesale. The company is headquartered in Bergkrichen near Munich and supplies among others the gastronomy. They distribute a high-quality specialties with different focuses. My task was to sharpen the communicative orientation of the company in order to position it better on the market. After BAW, I wanted to apply my newly acquired knowledge to projects. I was able to offer my clients the combination of consulting and design from a single source, which in my view is a gain for any company. Already during my apprenticeship I could convince the first customers of me and my concept and so I succeeded in starting my self-employment with a variety of different projects.
