I work and teach on the topic of "Research as Design (RAD)" and "Creativity in Research Scholars (CiRS)" at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford, also called d.school. Our book is called "Creativity in Research" and is published with Cambridge University Press: www.CreativityInResearch.org.
I teach regularly at the African Doctoral Academy at Stellenbosch University. Some of the topics are "The Productive PhD - Clarity, insight and progress for more creativity, productive and confidence" and "Design Your (Academic) Future - Using design thinking, positive psychology and behavioral economics" and "The value of visual thinking - for creating Einstein moments".
