• Collect, organize, and analyze data related to FDI flows into Mexico from various domestic sources. • Conduct in-depth research on topics related to FDI, economic competitiveness, and investment climate in Mexico, and communicate findings through reports, presentations, and academic publications. • Collaborate with senior economists to formulate recommendations and strategies for optimizing FDI data collection and processing.
Track and monitor ongoing changes in the political and macroeconomic landscape of Mexico and Central America. Also, gather relevant data on the performance of key sectors of the economy.
Implemented the shift-share analysis to identify the economic sectors with the greatest growth potential in an econometric study conducted in conjunction with the Nuevo León Ministry of Labor. Calculated the location quotient (LQ) and the coefficient of specialization, using R to extract data from Economic Census, to measure the region’s industrial specialization relative to the country and to determine how diversified the economy is.
Consolidation of accounting and financial statements, and drafting of policies, accruals, and invoices.
