I oversee all core functions - including Operations, HR, Technical Operations, Learning & Development, and Workplace Health & Safety - and drive long-term performance excellence. Under my leadership, the site is the top performer in Amazon’s Transportation Network, consistently setting benchmarks in productivity, safety, quality, and employee experience.
As the Country Lead for Workplace Health & Safety for ATS UK, I provide national leadership for WHS across nine transportation warehouses. I lead a remote team of Cluster Managers who oversee onsite WHS Managers and Coordinators, ensuring full legal compliance with UK health and safety regulations and driving executive-level engagement across the UK leadership team. I serve as a strategic advisor to the Regional Director and have built a robust succession pipeline for the function. Under my leadership, all key safety metrics improved significantly, including a 42.1% reduction in Lost Time Injury Rate, a 32.2% reduction in Recordable Injury Rate, and a 66.4% reduction in Serious Injury Rate.
As an Operations Manager at LEJ1, I provided leadership for 4–9 Area Managers and a total organization of up to 500 employees across Pack, Ship, and Flow. I spearheaded the strategic conversion of the site from a mixed Sort/Non-Sort model to a fully traditional Non-Sort fulfillment center, directing all interim layout designs, workflow transitions, and cross-functional coordination with the construction team - delivering a seamless launch with zero customer impact. I also strengthened organizational capability by developing leaders across multiple management tiers and elevating team engagement, achieving a 30% increase within the Ship department.
As senior manager at Lidl, I was responsible for all processes and people in the warehouse Großbeeren. Ensuring the day-to-day delivery of over 100,000 units/collies to the 70 Lidl stores in the region, with a revenue responsibility of 40 million € per month. I led 4 area managers and 3 clerks. The total span of control was 120 employees. I was able to develop the warehouse to the most efficient in the country (out of 39 regions) by reducing administrative costs (-3%) and increasing the performance in the FMCG area by 14.8% (2700 UPH to 3100 UPH).
I took over during a parental leave the responsibility of a shift leading operations manager. Here I was accountable for Inbound, Outbound, Safety and Quality. I led 4 Area Manager with a total span of control of 90 people. I was leading the construction work during the fusion of Prime Now and Amazon Fresh to ensure a smooth operation whilst rebuilding the warehouse. As well, my effort ensured a successful reorganization of the Learning & Development and ICQA department to reduce the VCPU impact of these two departments by 15%.
Being responsible for the quality department of the first Amazon Fresh site and ensuring a high quality launch. In this role I was leading a team of team leads and ICQA Associates which were responsible for inventory accuracy and training/onboarding quality. I was the interface to our vendor and customer service teams to work backwards from the customer to build up mechanisms which are ensuring a increased customer satisfaction. In that time I created a tool which is still in worldwide use to avoid stow issues with regard to expirations dates (Fat Finger Report). Finally, I implemented a state-of-the-art onboarding procedure for Associates which will be well now being implemented at Amazon AIR.
As consultant in Michael Page I was responsible for the acquisition of clients in e-commerce to support them in hiring key management roles in the sector of information technology. From contract negotiation to active search via LinkedIn and Xing up to interview preparation, I was responsible to create at least a revenue of €15.000 per month. I became the best consultant in DE 2016 and I successfully filled roles from team leading software developers up to CIOs.
