I joined MCB in 2019 and helped the group in establishing a diversified and sustainable business in the DIFC. Currently I lead the DIFC team and oversee business development and client coverage activities directed towards corporate and institutional clients. We offer a complete range of products and services tailored to the requirements of clients who are looking for financing solutions to realize projects and acquisitions in select sectors in African markets and/or looking to finance trade on the African corridors. We also cater to clients that are seeking assistance in regards to transaction banking, global markets & treasury management, external asset manager’s services and M&A/corporate finance advisory services. Our main business partners include global & international corporates, regional and African companies, banks, asset & investment managers, private equity funds, development finance companies, and trusts, foundations, fiduciary companies and management services providers. From an industry sector perspective, we have appetite to arrange structured financing transactions for companies active amongst other in energy (upstream, downstream and oil & gas trade), power (renewable and conventional technologies), infrastructure (roads, ports, telecom towers, data centers), logistics, IT/technology, agro processing, pharmaceuticals & health care services, contracting. We are also open to consider commercial and strategic partnerships with fintech companies providing solutions in Wealth Management, digital payments, and digital KYC. Prior to MCB I had a bespoke career in Investment Banking and Wealth Management based in London, Zurich, Dubai and Singapore.
