Experienced in the commercial and technical aspects of water and waste-water treatment systems. Covered roles in bid/tender management, project execution, testing and commissing of seawater, brackish water Reverse Osmosis desalination plants including membrane bio-reactor (MBR) type sewage treatment plants.
Assisting in the growth of Lewatit® Ion Exchange Resins for Industrial Water Treatment applications, Bayoxide® adsorbers and Lewabrane® Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes for the following applications: (1) Seawater desalination (2) Production of boiler feed water in power stations (3) Demineralization and particle removal in microchip manufacture (4) Water desalination for light industry (car wash, laundries, and marine application) (5) Wastewater treatment, including post membrane bioreactor (MBR) application (6) Groundwater remediation and recharge.
• Managed tender Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes from Power plants, Oil and Gas industries including FPSO, refineries to Hotel and Resort infrastructure industries for water and waste treatment packages. • Performed the design and manufacturing of seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO), brackish water (BWRO), demineralized water and wastewater treatment systems (MBR). • Preparation of proposals, commercial costing and technical specifications during Proposal Development stage. • Took on responsibilities as project engineer to execute the design and fabrication of multiple seawater reverse osmosis systems ranging from 10m3/day to 250m3/day and Membrane Bio-reactor Sewage Treatment Plants for the Hotel and Resorts industry.
• Collaborated with DCM Process Control Pty Ltd, Australia, to research on the various treatment methods affecting the chlorine decay profile in the Australian drinking water distribution pipelines. • Procured raw materials and testing equipment required for laboratory-scaled experiments. • Implemented TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation and PACl coagulation treatment to effectively remove natural organic matter (NOM) in water samples. • Documented experimental procedures, protocols and analysed characterisation results for compliance to Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG). • Liaised and conducted presentation to research group and industry partners.
• Reviewed field equipment and ancillary lines to assist in the updating of PID within the plant. • Monitored daily smoke emission levels and assisted in designating contractor job-packs (job procedures, equipment schematics and safety requirements). • Consolidated safety audits, classified risk levels and highlighted to management thereby achieving a lower overall incident occurrence, during turnaround maintenance.
