About

I am a cosmopolitan, independent, team player and always willing to learn. During my studies I focused on learning different methods from diverse areas. Many research topics are very interesting and I didn't want to commit myself to one of them during my studies. My current focus is on microbiology, molecular biology and biotechnology. In my bachelor's thesis, I worked with Ustilago maydis, which I genetically modified to secrete pectinolytic enzymes using an unconventional secretion pathway. And as part of my master's thesis, I successfully worked with a 3D-printed vascular system in the field of thrombosis research and achieved valuable results. In my first job after graduation, I worked in a start-up that develops 3D bio-printers and bio-inks, where my focus was to develop, characterize and test new bio-inks for their printability and modify them if necessary. During this time I managed and worked on projects independently, led 3D printing trainings at customers and managed the purchase and sales of my department. Now I am pursuing my PhD in IBA, developing a 3D printed skin model and analyzing its wound healing capabilities. Ich bin ein weltoffener, selbständiger, teamfähiger und stetig lernbereiter Mensch. In meinem Studium habe ich den Schwerpunkt auf das Erlernen von verschiedenen Methodiken aus verschiedenen Bereichen gelegt. Ich finde viele Forschungsbereiche sehr interessant und wollte mich im Studium dazu noch nicht festlegen. Meine derzeitigen Schwerpunkte liegen im Bereich der Biotechnologie, Molekularbiologie und Medizintechnik. In meiner Bachelorarbeit arbeitete ich mit dem Maisbrandpilz Ustilago maydis, den ich genetisch modifizierte um Pektinolytische Enzyme über einen unkonventionellen Sekretionsweg zu sekretieren. Während ich in meiner Masterarbeit im Forschungszentrum der Bayer AG ein 3D-gedrucktes Durchflusssystem mit endothelialisierter Oberfläche aufgebaut habe, designte ich verschiedene Assays zum analysieren der Gerinnungsfaktoren. In meinem ersten Job nach dem Studium, arbeitete ich in einem Start-up, dass 3D-Biodrucker und Biotinte entwickelt, dabei war mein Schwerpunkt neue Biotinten wozu entwickeln, charakterisieren und auf Ihre Verdruckbarkeit zu überprüfen und gegebenenfalls zu verändern. In der Zeit habe ich Projekte geleitet und selbstständig bearbeitet, 3D-Druck Schulungen bei Kunden geleitet und den Ein- und Verkauf meiner Abteilung geleitet. Jetzt strebe ich meine Doktorarbeit im IBA an, wobei ich ein 3D-gedrucktes Hautmodell entwickle und dessen Wundheilungsfähigkeit analysiere
