Experienced Operations / Supply chain Executive (CSCO), passionate about developing teams, transforming organisations and delivering business results in diverse industries and cultures During my 30+ years in Operations / Supply Chain I have built a very deep functional knowledge managing directly 5 to 10 factories, supply chain in up to 20 countries, quality, sourcing & procurement, engineering with teams of more than 3000 people at worldwide level and COGS budgets up to 1,5 Billion euros. I have worked both in Consumer goods and Healthcare companies, adapting to Business to consumer/patient or Business to Business models What I really enjoy is to discover new business models and to develop agile supply chain strategies connecting upstream supply with consumer/customer needs, creating value, optimizing costs & cash flows and impacting positively all stakeholders along the chain I have developed a strong international experience in leadership positions (16 years away from France), reporting to a regional GM, a Divison EVP or a CEO, and I’m used to adapt to different cultures, business contexts, categories… I’m also passionate about people and I have a large experience in building strong diverse teams, developing talents, taking the best out of them to create a clear and shared vision, translate it into concrete strategies /deliverables and engage the entire organization to make things happen. As a COO, I oversee our end-to-end supply chain in Europe and Americas and I have supported the rapid growth of the company (15% CAGR, Ebitda multiplied by 2,5 over the last 5 years), the industrial footprint extension (2 acquisition integrated, 3 news plants built) and the development of a high performing Operations team.

    Salvesen logistica is a Joint Venture company between Danone and XPO Logistics covering Spain & Portugal with a Turnover of 160 M€ and more than 900 employees As an Executive Administrator I was supervising directly the company with a General manager including full Sales, P&L, Balance sheet and legal accountability During a very challenging period in Iberia Salvesen maintained a very high margin for the sector while stabilizing sales thanks to a best in class service/efficiency and a diversified client portofolio. We initiated one of the first Corporate Social Responsibility program in this sector. I also personally conducted several Sales&Leaseback operations on warehouses in Spain to provide significant cash for the shareholders.

  • Vice-President Operations | South Europe at Danone

    In a challenging post-crisis context, I manage to integrate the manufacturing, supply chain and procurement teams of different business units into one regional Operations team (900 danoners), buiding a renewed vision/team/ set of processes & systems for this new End to End Supply Chain organisation and reaching very high engagement scores In parallel, after restructuring the manufacturing network (from 8 to 4 factories) we implemented a European lean manufacturing approach (Ideal Factory) and redefined the industrial strategy with a clear specialisation of factories. We also transformed the Milk sourcing strategy switching from a spot /short term approach to long term / cost based realationship with our top 100 farmers

    In charge of the End to End worldwide Supply chain of one of Danone´s Division with a turnover of 1,8 B€ and a direct team of 2100 people. Reporting to the EVP, member of the leadership team. Food for Special Medical Nutrition Purposes (FSMP), sold mainly under Health Care Professionals prescription (Powders or Liquid forms, Oral or Tube feed) Main responsibilities : - Manufacturing (6 factories in Europe / Americas/China), Lean manufacturing program - Engineering (60M€ capex /year), Quality & process control - Supply Chain at central and local level (central planning, customer service & logistics) - Procurement (with Danone Procurement central teams) - Innovation & productivity project office, major projects management Delivering sustainable productivity and cost competitivity to more than 30 BU´s and supporting their growth through stepchange innovations, improved reliability and service and the expansion of the manufacturing footprint (new factory in China…) Adapating constantly product formulation, process & quality control to the evolving regulatory framework of the medical nutrition category As a member of Danone’s Operations board, I am also specifically responsible of the ZBB logistics stream and of developing the digital roadmap of Danone Supply Chain End of my assignment with Danone in Feb 2020

  • Senior Vice President Operations North America | Danone Dairy at Danone

    In charge of the end to end Supply Chain of the North America region (Dannon US, Canada, Stonyfield Organic, YoCrunch & YoCream) with a turnover of 2,5 B$ As an SVP Operations I focused on regaining Customer satisfaction through improved Customer service & collaboration and superior product quality entering the Top 5 of US preferred suppliers in the food category in 2016. I also managed a high level of investments in our 7 factories to support a strong topline growth , adapting assets and upstream strategy to new consumers requirements ( Non GMO / Organic milk, Greek yogurt…) while delivering sustainable productivities (up to 100M$)
