I recently graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arizona’s Dhaliwal-Reidy School of Accountancy with a degree in Accounting, and I plan to continue my education by pursuing a Master of Accounting degree this fall while working toward obtaining my CPA certification. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, I have built my academic and professional experiences around developing a strong foundation in accounting, finance, and business operations. Through internships in both public accounting and corporate/legal accounting environments, I have gained hands-on experience with individual and business tax returns, bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial record management, and client-focused problem solving. These experiences have strengthened not only my technical accounting knowledge, but also my communication, adaptability, and ability to perform in fast-paced professional environments. Outside of academics and professional experience, I remained actively involved on campus through Zeta Beta Tau, where I developed leadership, teamwork, and relationship-building skills that continue to shape both my personal and professional growth. I take pride in bringing a strong work ethic, creativity, and determination into everything I do, and I am always looking for opportunities to continue learning, expanding my experience, and building meaningful professional relationships within the accounting and business industries.
This position requires Leadership and teamwork skills. My duties consisted of leading a team of employees to clean and promote customer service.
At this job, my duty is to make sure people are safe and respectful. I am supposed to monitor all users and make sure they are doing as they should. On top of this, we clean the facility to make it better for our users.
Currently assisting with the preparation and filing of extended individual tax returns (1040s) and the amendment of individual and business tax returns. I also manage bookkeeping for 10–15 small businesses, ensuring accurate financial records to support tax preparation and reporting. This role is helping me build hands-on experience in tax compliance, bookkeeping, and small business accounting.
I assist the accounting team in closing and reconciling finalized legal cases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records. My responsibilities include processing and digitizing payment and rate documentation for client filing and maintaining accounting records that reflect case outcomes and financial adjustments. This role is strengthening my skills in legal accounting processes, attention to detail, and financial documentation.
At this job, I was required to monitor the safety of all users. It is my job to make sure patrons of the pool are able to have a good time as well as feel safe.
