Business Context: Building a Platform for various use cases around Future Energy Home (e.g. transparency, home energy optimization, solar charging, dynamic price charging, ...) for solar panels, batteries, EV charging stations, heatpumps and more. Technology Focus: Oversee overall AWS cloud-native Architecture, craft and maintain Technology Roadmap, build Core Platform Engineering Team, setupDeveloper Portal, optimizite existing Technology Capabilities (e.g. IAM, API Management, ...) and many more.
Leadership: Disciplinary leadership for "Technical Enterprise Architects" as well as for the team for API Management, Identity Management and Asynchronous Event Management (build up phase). Taking over responsibilities as deputy of the CTO. Business Context: Cloud-native SaaS platform for mid and back-office processes in the energy industry. Technology Focus: Develop and maintain Target Architecture Picture of the company together with Techology Roadmap, shape multi-tenancy strategy and the execution in cloud-native SaaS platform, concept and introduce cross-functional technical capabilities like API Management (API Gateway & API Documentation Portal), Identity & Access Management and Asynchronous Messaging / Event, setup and moderate technological Know-How Exchange and Standards (PHP & Java Foundation, Developer Guild)
Leadership: Disciplinary leadership for a team of roughly 20 internal software developers and architects including staffing of externals freelancers/companies. Business Context: Scaled digital product development for cross-company initiatives in the energy networks sector. Technology Focus: Cloud-Native Architecture (using Microsoft Azure), Microservices, Setup of API Management (API Gateway and Developer Portal) for Energy Networks Platform, Development of a framework for Technical Quality Assurance Software Products, Core Team Member and Contributor of Application Development Guild
