Born and raised in Ecuador, I am a current part time graduate student at Columbia University, studying Enterprise Risk Management. Graduated from Northeastern University with an undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics. Full time Associate at JPMorgan for the Structured Products Operations Team. Previous experiences in the Financial Services industry include two Co-Ops at Wellington Management and Brown Brothers.
Structured Products (Equity Derivatives)
•Co-managed the Commission Sharing Agreement program, enabling the appropriate collection of research commissions and payment to research providers, with the use of daily and monthly reconciliations for further trade commission analysis •Worked in the due diligence process of new and existing approved brokers, providing KYC documentation or research of new brokers for further approval of Trading •Oversaw the Commission Recapture Program, ensuring trade confirmation from brokers and recoded trades, used for the transaction commission analysis
•Elaborated 22 daily domestic reports, working with Broadridge, mainly reconciling DTC with the firm, ensuring no overvote or undervote was produced in any proxy event, preventing future vote rejections •Processed and submitted vote instructions sent from clients via swifts, guaranteeing that the account and shares are eligible to vote and working with clients in any discrepancy that arose •Issued legal proxies, enabling clients to attend proxy meetings and power of attorneys, providing the custodian with the power to act on behalf of them in certain markets
