Responsible for developing and executing the global transportation strategy for sea, air, road, parcel freight, optimizing the carrier portfolio, and driving procurement activities to ensure cost efficiency, service reliability, and sustainability in the supply chain.
In this role I am leading, directing, develop, mitigate risk and define the outbound freight priorities in order to deliver Amer Sports products to customers/consumers in all channels, with the right service/quality/transit time and cost for all our markets in North America and EMEA. My team and myself identifies and pre-select service providers, initiate RFQ’s, we design solutions, negotiate contracts in line with the overall transportation strategy of Amer Sports.
Responsibility to select and manage the best possible transport service provider for each transport in terms of cost and performance and thus achieve the highest possible delivery reliability for Amer Sports internal and external clients with a growing focus on sustainability - Responsibility for all outbound transportation activities from six distribution centers in the EMEA region to retailers, e-tailers and consumers - leading the EMEA transport management team - Strategy development, decission making, maintenance of exisiting carriers and implementation of new solutions - Implementation of tools to optimize processes by providing full cost transparency
Responsibility for one of three sales regions in the German trans-o-flex network for Pharma clients, including gross margin responsibility as well as leading the sales team in this region, consisting of 12 people
Sales and Business Development responsibility for the activities of Movianto in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations; marketing orientated approach to all activities
Responsible for one of 20 subsidiaries in Germany P&L responsibility Sales, financial, operations, HR management
