I’m Sean Wang, born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. I was a kid obsessed with Pokemon and Legos and loved the immersive atmosphere they created. But somehow I ended up with a degree in Business Management & Economics. That led me to creative projects that illuminated my desire to express myself creatively, having a more tangible impact. Design is a puzzle and I’m the guy piecing it together. My design decisions are formed by the constraints presented by each piece and each puzzle is different. There is no room for arbitrary design, decisions are made with intent and informed by our users and our research. Based on our discoveries, the puzzle comes into focus and the end result is a product informed by it’s system. Whether I’m immersed in virtual reality, advertising or ceramics, my goal is to think methodically and strategically not just aesthetically.
