Packaging Strategy & Content Innovation - Global Content (PATT) Professional Services Consultant: Develops and delivers detailed IT solutions through consulting project activities. Responsibilities include client identification through final invoicing for engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, (i.e., billable hours). Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring. May have some financial responsibilities including project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing. May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Performance is typically measured by the capture of the consulting engagement and/or delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.
Responsible for analyzing company needs, and work with vendors and/or programmers to design system specifications. Implement and maintain specially designed human resources information systems and related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record, and process employee information. Recommend, implement, and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the system. Provide retrieval ability to produce employee information for analysis and decision making, statistical data, and other employee-related reports as required. Maintain, develops, and revises all manuals, tables, code lists, and documentation. Support several functional applications. Combine Human Resource knowledge with information retrieval skills. Responsibilities • Apply extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. • Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. • Act as lead, coordinating work of others but is not a direct supervisor. • Work independently and without appreciable direction with guidance in only the most complex situations. • Guide successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
