As a country manager, he spearheads Korea Team and shapes American Express business strategy with passion, resilience and creativity. He has built more than 25 years of global business experience both in top-tier multi-national companies as well as one of the largest Korean conglomerates. Sean is a strategic thinker equipped with hardcore executor DNA. Setting the agenda and achieving the shared goal with visionary team are his fact of business life. His specialties reside in Business Development, Consultative Value Sales, Strategic Partnership, FinTech/BigTech Partnership, Digital Trasnformation, Strategy Development, P&L Management, Team Building, Change Management, Go to Market Straretgy, Market Entry Strategy, Premium Product Developemnt, Premium Branding and Premium Marketing to High Net Worth customers. Recently his keen focus areas are Generative AI, LLM, Hyper-personalization, Agentic Commerce, Real-time Marketing, Customer Experience and Behavior Economics. Sean holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Art in Business Administration from Yonsei University.
