As the Assistant Lab Manager at the IDeA Lab I have a multitude of responsibilities. I manage analyst assignments and projects and keep in contact on a daily basis. In addition I generate monthly reports to describe our database of over 20,000 MRI and PET images. I assist doctors throughout the University of California Health system by sending and receiving MRI images through a secure server. Finally I manage weekly meetings and develop useful scripts in Python to assist the lab's day to day operations.
As a Junior Specialist at the IDeA Lab of UC Davis I analyze thousands of MRI images to study Alzeihmer's and Dementia, trained incoming Junior Specialists and student interns, worked with machine learning, documented the tasks of a Junior Specialist via a Wikipedia page, and developed a dashboard to better visualize lab data.
