Safaa Golf Club is a private 9-hole course and academy on location at KING Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Safaa Golf Club’s focus is on premium service to our members and guests. The promotion to Golf Club Manager was a decision from our proponent to prioritise the longevity of the current contract. The requirement was to lead, manage the overall day-to-day efficient running and management of the Club, along with delivery of services to our members and guests. This involved driving our service out to a community of 8000 residents. efficiently and effectively improving the standards of the clubhouse, improving members’ satisfaction, and building a strong and committed team of staff.

Safaa Golf Club’s focus is on premium service to our members and guests. My role comprised of leading a team of 14 operations staff and I arrived at the beginning of a new contract. During this spell I was responsible for the arrival, installation and maintenance of a new GPS buggy fleet, the opening of the new Professional Shop and the stabilisation of our current contract.
Marriott UK’s Flagship Golf Hotel. 36 Hole Championship Venue and past host to the English Open & British Masters. My role was to be Supervisor in Golf Operations/ Event Coordinator of Corporate Golf Days at the Forest of Arden. I was responsible for supervising a team comprising of 10 staff and the overall operation in the absence of the Golf Operations Manager. Running corporate golf days and societies usually involving over 80-140 players, including all preparation, results services and needs of the client.
30 hours p/w working in the Professional Shop/ Golf Academy. Custom fitting experience with trackman across brands such as Titleist, Cobra, Callaway, Taylormade and Nike. During my spell, Machynys hosted the R&A Seniors Open Amateur Championship. I was given the chance to assist with event organisation, matching oversees players with caddies, liaising with players, bag storage, marshalling, caddying.
