A creative technologist with roots in Asia and a technical education in the United States, I am passionate about building engaging, user-centered digital experiences that bridge cultures and disciplines. Growing up in Asia shaped my appreciation for cross-cultural storytelling, while my studies in Computer Science in Computer Game Design at UC Santa Cruz have given me the tools I need to bring those stories to life through meaningful design, engineering, and interactive media. I’ve contributed to product and platform teams at The Walt Disney Company — from developing Disney+ features for Southeast Asia to launching internal campaigns at Shanghai Disney Resort. My work blends gameplay systems thinking, UI/UX design, and product marketing to deliver polished, exciting, and high-impact experiences. Currently, I an indie developer and technical game designer for Twinforged Games. The current game we are producing is called Dungeon Inspection Guild, an indie level-editor roguelike game. I design scalable Unity/C# systems, manage agile pipelines, and use iterative playtesting and quality assurance testing to shape a fun and technically sound experience. Whether I’m building prototypes in Figma, conducting QA on speech recognition models, or collaborating with designers and engineers, I thrive in roles that let me bridge creative and technical teams. I’m always eager to use my gamification skills to contribute to meaningful products that resonate with users — especially those that connect global audiences through play and design. Let’s connect if you’re working on projects in digital entertainment, product innovation, or game-based learning! 🎮 Check out my Itch Page: https://https://scso-ucsc.itch.io/ 👨💻 Check out my GitHub Profile: https://github.com/scso-ucsc/ 📹 Check out my YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/DM5Anims
