Worked with a dedicated team to build scalable, distributed application services foundational to the launch of Gemini eOTC, an automated over-the-counter trading platform providing large-scale order execution and real-time visibility into changing asset prices and order updates. These services were optimized to combine the pricing, deep liquidity, and delayed settlement benefits of OTC trading with the automation, security, and visibility of an integrated trading platform. Omniex (acquired by Gemini in Jan. 2022) provided an institutional operating platform for investment managers and active traders focused on crypto-assets. Our suite of services, from portfolio & order management to risk & data analytics to connectivity & execution were specifically built with institutional clients in mind, tailored for crypto-assets. My work focused primarily on venue integrations for our execution management system developed in C++. This entailed working with exchange APIs to develop new trading gateways and data feeds for our clients. With connectivity to over 25 liquidity venues and support for multiple products from spot to derivatives, the Omniex platform provided global connections while ensuring best execution.
Aquatic is a quantitative trading company combining a high-performance research and development platform with disciplined risk management. As an intern, I worked on the trading execution team with a group of best-in-class engineers and fellow interns developing tools for more robust development flow and configuration in the execution management system.
As a developer at A.J. Boggs & Company, I worked to develop the company's short-term and long-term vision for using blockchain technology to inject security and sovereignty into their applications. I did this while working diligently to deliver on business requirements from clients in the form of efficient, well-documented code within the company's existing software applications.
