Shaun has conceived of a new production company called Rhincéros Productions to create groundbreaking new material in English and French, by both men and women, that challenge our tabous. Times such as these demand that we continue to challenge current norms and the metaphor of the Rhinoceros is apt to advance this idea. The name is also an homage to the wonderful absurdists in France, such as Eugène Ionesco and Samuel Beckett.

Thirty-six victims were slain in the Ted Bundy murders, if not more… (the number might be closer to 101 according to his lawyer....) This screenplay, dubbed “36”, pays tribute to the victims of Bundy's crimes by exploring the mind of the man, yet in a compassionate light. The killer deserves as much sympathy, in some ways, as the victim, which is a very challenging thought. In the style of “Seven”, no violence is represented, but the trauma of the victims is imagined and felt. "36" is a psychological drama that portrays the behaviour Bundy from the time of his arrest through his trials, imprisonment and escapes up to his execution so that others will not fall dupe to such a personage in the future. As many know, Bundy used sympathy to entrap his victims, and it is important to display the manipulative techniques and personality of the man to reveal how a seemingly unmasked man can actually be unmasked.

Over the years curiosity has grown about what happens in Hockey dressing rooms. As a past semi-professional Hockey goaltender in Switzerland and Canada, trust me, at times, the picture is not pretty.... Since the Sheldon Kennedy incidents in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada, along with many others who were sexuallly abused, such as Theo Fleury, as well, it now seems time to expose what sometimes happens in a Hockey dressing room. This article will reveal some of the 'initiation rites' that young people are forced to go through, or be witness to, in order to shed light on issues that are at the core of Hockey. The goal of this article is to help to ensure the health of our up-and-coming youth, as they make their way in 'Hockey', and in life, so that they have the skills to deal with the situations they may be forced to face, and so that they will be equipped to go forward positively.
