As the IT Support Engineer in a small IT team I worked across the breadth of IT Systems at PowerNet. Responsible for IT Support to 250 users, in ten offices throughout Southland and Otago. This provided me with experience from positive customer interaction to deliver support, to implementing an IBM SAN and VMware ESXi clusters. During the five years that I was in PowerNet I was able to grow within the role from an entry level support role, to the looking after the day to day operation of the IT systems for the business. I have managed to extend myself within this position, developing a visitor sign in system and an inventory tracking application in C#.

With varied customers from home users, companies, and warranty work, this role has given me exposure to a number of key skills with inter-personal interaction, trouble shooting, and Windows OS familiarity.
