Integrate future products into manufacturing by maintaining standardized build sequence process in General Assembly while adhering to manufacturing requirements and ergonomic requirements. Act as the single manufacturing voice during the vehicle design phase. Act as the Co-chair with product engineering of the issue resolution team to resolve issues identified during integration builds by the assembly plant. Programs worked include Silverado/Sierra 1500 Pick-up, Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade SUV, Cadillac Cellestic EV. Currently on loan to our GM Defense company, working Advance Vehicle Development. Supporting the JLTV, ISV-9, LTV-Utility, HD Suburban, STEEP and other programs in early development.
Responsible for managing the daily operations of 3 facilities providing Less then truck load and Truck Load shipments, sequencing operations and value added assembly processes for 3 General Motors automotive manufacturing facilities.
Integrate future products into the assembly plant, develop build processes and job set-ups consistent with current build sequences currently in place at the assembly plant while taking safety, quality, through put, and ergonomic into consideration, identify and provide support to the Design Release Engineers to resolve part and build issue concerns, responsible for team training and mentoring of production team leaders.
Lead a production team of 6-8 team members in the daily performance of assembly operations, train new team members, ensuring quality and daily through put obtainment, maintain all ISO documentation for the team, conduct daily team meetings, lead issue problem solving functions.
Responsible for the daily timely out bound shipments for a 1,000,000 square foot retail distribution center.
