I'm a sports media specialist with over four years experience working in the sports industry across media and communications. I'm an enthusiastic and hard-working individual who takes pride in their work.
I was previously the Head of Digital Media for the Aer Lingus College Football Classic (ALCFC), which saw two-sell out College Football games in Ireland. Below were a few of my key responsibilities: • I created digital content for all ALCFC accounts. • I organised and managed key timelines in the lead up to the event. • I planned media days with the U.S. Colleges for local media. • I wrote informative blogs and updates for our website. • I created newsletters and key emails to send out to our database. • I worked cross functionally on new marketing ideas to increase interest in the sporting event. • I managed three high profile ambassadors to plan out their social media posts and key messaging for the game. • I identified key areas of growth for American Football in Ireland and Europe. • I captured engaging content during marketing and media trips and in return produce high-quality posts for ALCFC channels. Through interviews, presenting skills and written skills this role has provided me with the opportunity to share my passion and knowledge for American football with international audiences
I had the pleasure of working with the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in order to promote the 2022 games involving the Northwestern Wildcats and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
I was the founder of Ireland's No.1 American football page. In December 2020, The Irish Punt was set up by Scott McCabe in order to raise awareness for the NFL in Ireland. I was eager to create an engaging platform for Irish and European NFL fans to enjoy all elements of American football from light-hearted stories to breaking news. I also created The Irish Punt in order to showcase my knowledge and passion for the NFL. Since 2020, The Irish Punt built-up an audience of over three-thousand followers on Instagram and continued go grow. All the original content on The Irish Punt is designed by Scott. The Irish Punt has had the honour of working with some huge organisations in the Irish media industry such as SportsJoe.ie and The Aer Lingus College Football Classic.
