EU28 and CIS Combines Training Project Manager. John Deere Ltd

Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

About

In my current position I work for John Deere and am responsible for agricultural products in German market (product management). As a BTechnol-student I graduated as a “Bachelor of Technology” in Agriculture from S.A.C. Auchincruive. My main areas of development were in arable and machinery with a dissertation in the Viability of GPS Systems. I was fortunate to have been awarded an internship with Ohio State University where I spent 10 months developing my harvesting equipment understanding with a custom harvester in the USA. My professional experiences since then have developed a solid understanding of various aspects of the industry at different levels. This has led to a solid understanding of the many factors and influences that can impact businesses at various levels of the supply chain. Agriculture and machinery are my strongest interests as I grew up on a farm. I enjoy working with colleagues, dealers and customers. When not working I compete in National level competitions in canopy piloting and play classical violin music.
