My goals are always about learning more, accomplishing more, completing more in whatever area, whether it's process training, managing staff and their volume of assignments or decision making in regard to new technology and new methods.
Virtually all my experience was learned on the job at MGM where I started as a clerk/coordinator in 1992 and eventually rose to Vice President. From data entry and inventory maintenance to working with talent and vendors on video transfers and restoration projects, it has all proved to be invaluable in managing others to do the same.

* Managing direct reports in the U.S. who lead departments covering Mastering, Home Entertainment, Foreign Theatrical & Dubbing and Inventory – their mission to prepare, restore, distribute and archive all available content in the vast MGM library
* Preparation for UHD distribution has included the 4K restoration of about a dozen of the James Bond features, Robocop, Rocky, Rain Man, Fargo and The Good, the Bad & the Ugly
* HDR agreement with Dolby required up conversions and talent supervision of recent features Creed, If I Stay, Hot Pursuit and Death Wish (2018) with full 4K restorations needed on library titles Princess Bride, Silence of the Lambs, Mad Max, Spaceballs and Platoon to output Dolby Vision, HDR10 and SDR UHD masters
* Other 2K and 4K work has included DCP production and evaluation as well as D.I. data validation
* Major reductions in cost for physical storage through rate card adjustment, educated asset reduction and geographical separation strategy

* Facing the new and numerous challenges of being both vendor and client and establishing clear policy with all for when we are truly representing Deluxe’s needs and when we are truly representing MGM’s
* Helping to develop improved strategies for how Deluxe entities work not just with our MGM team but with other clients and the numerous divisions within Deluxe
* Major projects have revolved around specific titles like West Side Story (65mm), 200 Motels (D.I. restoration), The Great Escape (4K D.I. restoration) and Top Shelf, project which organized all data assets covering multiple formats and languages into a relatively easy to access (via a DAM) series of Title Packages for over 500 features
