As Senior Director of IT at doTERRA, I focus on consolidating the company’s e-commerce platforms and enhancing the digital shopping experience for customers while enabling business leaders to create impactful interactions. Developed the concept and led execution of the BOGO Box campaign, which generated the highest week of sales in dōTERRA history and the second-highest sales month ever. Co-leading the strategic Proof of Concept (PoC) for dōTERRA’s future composable tech stack. Focused on architecting front-end modernization and advocating for innovation-first approaches. Act as the marketing/technology liaison, helping align Marketing, IT, and Executive leadership around scalable, customer-first digital transformation. Direct the spending of a multi-million dollar yearly budget. Direct all front-end web experiences and work with IT to develop a new strategic approach to website development. Direct all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, Paid Media, and website content strategies. (Developed a new Paid Search initiative that took our costs from $.35 cost per click to $.03. And increased our revenue from Paid Search from $51 million to $62 million while helping our distributors do the bulk of the advertising.) Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities to align sales and marketing teams. Create marketing plans, timelines and budgets for marketing activities as required. Lead a team of over 40 marketers and align daily activities towards the company goals. Developed a Marketing Coordinators group that has streamlined other departments interactions with direction on promotional concepts determine success metrics for promotions. Assist in annual strategic marketing planning and implementation of agreed-upon initiatives.
