One of four executives appointed to multi-regional responsibility for P&L, sales, service, and operational accountability for the organization’s performance across seven regions. Designed the future retail organization and implemented newly defined purpose, mission, and values. Reported to the President, Community Bank and provided leadership for seven Regional Retail Bank Leaders.
Led strategies, sales, service, and operations for the retail bank network of BB&T with P&L accountability for multiple regions throughout the footprint. Reported to President, BB&T, and provided leadership for up to 25 Regional Retail Banking Managers. • Spearheaded millions of dollars in savings with minimal loss of quality and delivery of banking relationships. • Led branch expansion into new territories including Texas and Pennsylvania, with significant revenue increases and heritage bank customer retention.
Full P&L responsibility for newly formed region created by the acquisition of Colonial Bank of Alabama. Accountable for all commercial and business banking and acted as the chief market integrator of all business lines. Reported to the President, BB&T and provided leadership for up to 12 direct reports including five City Executives, Regional Retail Banking Manager, Regional Operations Manager, Senior Credit Officer, Regional Mortgage Manager, Wealth Team Director, Private Banking Manager, and Regional Commercial Real Estate Manager. • Integrated Colonial Bank associates and clients successfully into an overlapping heritage BB&T market with a unique FDIC relationship, including a covered loan portfolio.
