• Responsible for overall US based project management for the design of offshore HVAC (Vineyard Wind a.o.) and HVDC (Sunrise Wind) substations. • Manage overall projects and/or tasks including but not limited to budgets, staffing, client coordination, and subcontractors. • Management of structural, mechanical and electrical engineering activities for offshore wind projects to ensure quality and timely execution. • Coordination of compliance with US Codes & Standards • Prepare project execution plans, quality management plans, risk assessment plans and Due Diligence Reports for global offshore projects. • Build relationships with key clients and stakeholders and assist with business development and proposal efforts. • Facilitate between CVA and other certifying and approving authorities • Continuously assess the US supply chain status and developments • Support all Business Development activities related to substation platforms
Directed a team of 34 engineers and project managers engaged in the design and development of industrial food drying machines for a global client base. Coordinated project plans with corporate headquarters in Switzerland to align projects with the overall needs of the business. Provided status and insights into the health and direction of each project to leadership. • Restructured the Engineering Department to improve alignment with global corporate strategy and the requirements of the North American Hub; established lines of communication that served as the foundation for more effective operations and project execution. • Implemented best practices to govern all phases of project management; coordinated mentoring for team leaders to build competencies in core skills.

• Served as Consortium Lead for North America on 3-year, $800MM, highly-publicized, high voltage direct current (HVDC), “Bipole III Transmission Line” project for Manitoba Hydro. • Coordinated with European Project Director and US Partner to achieve assigned objectives. • Managed client and stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication, aligning goals, leading technical meetings and preparing information and reports. • Collaborated cross-functionally and globally (Germany, Canada and Project Office). • Contributed to delivery of renewable energy to southern Manitoba and the U.S., reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Strengthened reliability, increased capacity and improved security of Manitoba’s electricity supply by reducing dependency on existing HVDC transmission lines in the Dorsey Converter Station.
• Assigned as U.S. market Expert to coordinate efforts between Siemens Germany and U.S. contacts for Eastern Alberta Transmission Line (EATL) / Western Alberta Transmission Line (WATL) HVDC project. • Led multiple project facets with $150MM value and numerous project team members. • Evaluated and verified market, prepared and reviewed proposals and supported audit teams. • Planned and forecasted resources, ensuring on-time and on-budget project deliverables. • Resolved major execution issues for this high-visibility project. Requalified potential subcontractors and re-executed with improved quality and talent. • Implemented value engineering and adjusted budget scope and changes.

Led multiple project facets with $110MM value and numerous project team members. Evaluated and verified supply chain, prepared and reviewed proposals and supported SME teams. Planned and forecasted resources, ensuring on-time and on-budget project deliverables. • Evaluate and determined Offshore Platform concepts and solutions incl. design/fabrication/T&I. • Resolved major execution issues for this high-visibility project.
