As the bank's first Technology Superintendent, I directed all technology verticals, from infrastructure and data center operations to software development, reporting to the Director of Technology, Backoffice, and Cybersecurity. My primary directive was to spearhead the modernization of the bank's technology stack and core processes. This involved strategically transitioning from a high-touch, manual customer service model to an automated, at-scale framework. This evolution was critical to executing the bank's directive to enter new markets and expand its customer base, all while meticulously preserving the high-quality, personalized service for which the bank is renowned. This initiative culminated in the complete transformation of our tech stack, re-architecting a non-scalable monolith into a distributed, reusable, and auto-scalable solution. This new foundation was instrumental in enabling modern, high-growth solutions, including Banking as a Service (BaaS), PIX, and Open Banking. Concurrently, in close partnership with HR and key business units, we drove a profound cultural and procedural shift by implementing Agile methodologies and SAFe. This program fostered technical specialization across the technology division and optimized internal workflows, resulting in higher solution quality and delivery velocity.
Head of the Blockchain initiative at BB, promoting discussions inside and outside the institution, initiating real-world projects with partners and customers, and disseminating the technology and its possibilities. - Spearheaded the Sistema Financeiro Digital (Digital Financial System) that used a tokenized Brazilian Real fiat currency to make instant payments across financial institutions with the Central Bank oversight, improving user experience using cellphone numbers, emails and QR Codes to address the recipient. Was part of LIFT (https://revista.liftlab.com.br/revistas/7) and published the LIFT Papers about it https://srv548426.hstgr.cloud/uploads/Sistema_Financeiro_Digital_compressed_2542186c7f.pdf . - In a partnership with Petrobras, created the Sistema Brasileiro de Poderes (Brazilian Competence and Powers System), establishing a process using blockchain and digital signatures, to define the competence and powers of its representatives to manage their accounts. Reducing the time required by the old paper trail process, from 8 business days to 45 minutes.
Manager of the teams responsible for core systems integration tools, used for execution of transactions between Mainframes and High-end systems, internally and with partners, via messaging, file exchange, APIs, and ISO-8583. Played key role in increasing the transactional capabilities of the bank, making it possible to scale at a lower cost, migrating from multiple implementations of point-to-point architectures to a standardized, service-oriented, assyncronous, SAGAs based one with a centralized services catalog.

As a third-party developer I worked at "Banco do Brasil" using various programming languages but primarily Java and C++ and on multiple platforms including Windows Server, Solaris, zLinux and Mainframe. Focus on analysis and development of integration solutions betweeen Microsoft ASP and Java Application Servers with Mainframes, using protocols based on TCP, IBM WebSphere MQ and Java RMI, allowing the daily execution of millions of transactions. Took part in the development of the company's main web-based banking software and its related security solutions used by millions of active clients reaching thousands of concurrent users.
