• Lead a team of 10 Quality Engineers to support Procurement, Design, Production, Assembly, Test, and Delivery of product to our Customer base. • Responsible for daily operations of the team including assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and supporting the team to overcome program challenges and drive improvement. • Collaborate with Customers to solve complex problems by creating innovative solutions to clear obstacles and enable a Quality delivery every time. • Implement a Corrective Action Board (CAB) to allow a structured process in which the team can review Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for all CARs that are seeking approval and closure. • Successfully update and maintain multiple facets of the QMS for compliance to AS9100 to better streamline processes and retain site certification. • Drive the implementation of AS13100 into our Site, a standard newly introduced to the industry for Aero Engine Manufacturers. • Developed an all-inclusive Quality Dashboard for Management to easily access any metric or data report at the click of the button. • Team with Supply Chain to assess our Supply base using Supplier Scorecards and drive improvements through regular Supplier Optimizations in order to determine difficult sourcing decisions. • Streamline our Supplier Variance Request (SVR) process to eliminate bottlenecks and provide quicker disposition to Suppliers and improve On Time Delivery. • Enhance the Corporate Supplier Quality Requirements Manual to better suit Customer Requirements and Industry Standards, including the implementation of AS13100 and APQP/PPAP.
• Certified Internal Auditor to NADCAP and AS9100 standards for multiple Northrop Grumman sites. • Oversee completion of Corrective Actions for all Audit findings issued by collaborating with Process Owners and assisting them with effective and timely solutions. • Own and execute the internal NADCAP Certification requirements from start to finish by Scheduling, Conducting, and Following through on all NADCAP audit checks throughout the year. • Lead Data Analyst for the Core Quality Group, own all Quality metrics for the business unit and responsible for the output of corporate level metrics and reports. • Develop and Sustain reports using Tip QA, SQL, Power BI, MS Access, MS Excel. • Execute Continuous Improvement events to help reduce costs, improve quality, and increase efficiency among various processes in the Core Quality Group.
• Lead Quality Engineer for the largest Program the site has ever won, navigated the Program by adherence to all internal Quality requirements and Customer flow downs. • Create First Article Inspection Reports by following procedure and adhering to AS9102. • Create Inspection Plans for our shop orders and provide in-process Quality Inspection support on the manufacturing floor. • Issue Nonconformance Reports for supplier caused and internally caused defects. Issue Corrective Action requests (CARs) when necessary. Manage weekly MRB to review all open NCRs, CARs, and Audit findings. • Develop a new Quality ERP system from scratch that housed all NCRs and CARs using Microsoft Access to improve process and eliminate bottlenecks. • Conduct standardized tools including APQP/PPAP, FMEA, Pareto Charts, 8D Root Cause Analysis, and Change Management to improve overall Quality Performance. • Manage company’s Approved Supplier List and implement a sustainable Supplier Approval process. • Regularly visit Suppliers for Source Inspections, Supplier Audits, and to provide support to struggling Suppliers on any mission critical issues.
• Own all the data in Supplier Quality. Extract data from different ERP sources, analyze and report the data to management. SME on all ERPs used such as SAP, SQL, ETQ, BusinessObjects, MS Access, MS Excel, etc. • Detect data trends and assist SQEs, IPTs, and Suppliers in determining Root Cause of receiving defects. Issue Corrective Actions and facilitate internal Corrective Action Board to manage all SCARs. • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements using Six Sigma Continuous Improvement methodologies. Facilitate internal CI Standup to track all CI Projects in the DMAIC phase.
• Oversee scheduling and project requirements on multiple IT programs by coordinating and capturing a well- communicated plan with customers, developers, stake holders, upper management, etc. • Capture and manage the demand of our customers and turn them into realistic project scopes. • Conduct productive working meetings to improve transparency, track goals, and hold accountability to ensure deadlines are met. • Continuously improve processes and procedures within the IT PM scope.
