During two years I worked as general manager at Max & Benitos, an austrian fast food chain. Main tasks: Overseeing daily business operations. Developing and implementing growth strategies. Training low-level managers and staff. Creating and managing budgets. Improving revenue. Evaluating performance and productivity. Analyzing accounting and financial data. Generating reports and giving presentations.
My work involved two key parts. I theoretically and experimentally investigated the way microscopic molecular images were created through nonlinear optical interactions, such as second harmonic generation and coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering. By this way I could properly make decision on how to reconstruct three-dimensional volumes starting from a stacks of two-dimensional images. This experiments were conducted in the context of a cancer research cluster within St. Anna kinderspital in Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna. In the second part, I investigated the way to reconstruct volumes taking into account the information brought by the molecular images.
