Founded a gaming club on campus. Each week, we brought board and video games for members to play and socialize. We noticed similar groups at other campuses and merged with them to include everyone across the company. There are now 4 admins (myself included), that run a Discord server with 100+ employees. A small team within the club competed in a season of the Corporate E-Sports Association (CEA) tournament.
I worked for my company's internal college system to support an Agile-Engineering Community of Practice. This involved reaching out to subject matter experts to give presentations to expand knowledge transfer within the company. I also attended my final year of a Leadership Conference (virtual for 2020) where I took on an leadership role and led a team in a "sandbox organization" to win a competition.
Started as an Instructional Aide for students who needed help with math, chemistry, or computer science. This was on a student-by-student basis. Within one semester, I was promoted to the position of Supplemental Instructor. As an SI, I was assigned to a class which I attended and helped groups students during the lecture. I also held multiple discussions per week where students could ask questions and review material. Finally, at my request, I became an online tutor for the math department. I made powerpoints and held online meetings that students could attend if they had any questions or concerns.
