After spending time in the education industry, I have realized that my true passion lies in data analysis. With this new insight, I have decided to pursue a career change into the exciting world of data analytics. I am currently working to pursue the Google Data Analytics Professional certificate, wherein I am building mastery of essential data analytics skills like data cleaning, SQL, Tableau, and R Programming. I'm looking for a data analytics role where I can leverage my education experience with my newfound data expertise towards data-driven decision-making. My interest in data analytics is bolstered by the diverse skill set I have built over my career. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Language Arts Education from the University of Central Florida while acquiring education experience as an education intern. I gained further valuable experience as a combination intensive reading and English language arts teacher. In these roles, I have developed and delivered engaging and differentiated lessons, assessed and monitored student progress, and collaborated with colleagues and parents to support student learning. I have also demonstrated data entry and computer literacy skills, as I have used various online platforms and tools to manage student records, assignments, and feedback. Scored responses on the CAL-WIDA verbal exam for high school students at the P1 and P3 levels of English proficiency. Maintained productivity goals of over fifty response pairs per hour (330 pairs per day) while aligning with 75% or higher congruency rates. Ensured confidentiality of project materials and student work by using secure browsers and following FERPA guidelines.
Sustained a 98% congruency and adjacency score by accurately assessing student performance on 235 standardized tests essay responses daily according to established guidelines and scoring criteria. Exceeded 80% congruency and accuracy rates for the entire team by collaborating with cross-subject area team to evaluate student essay requirements for the Georgia Writing Grade 7 rubric and requirements to ensure student mastery of state standards.
