I am an honors psychology and cognitive science student at Tulane University with a strong passion for understanding human behavior and using that knowledge to help others. I hope to explore all areas of behavioral neuroscience and clinical psychology in my academic journey while developing skills that can make a positive impact on individuals and communities.
- Assists in preparing experimental materials for ongoing studies. - Conducts participant sessions in-person according to specific lab protocol - Collects and enters data to ensure accuracy and reliability - Conducts literature searches and summarizes journal articles for lab use
- Aids the board in organizing bi-weekly outreaches to provide hot meals and resources to the homeless community in New Orleans. - Attends and leads bi-weekly outreaches on Saturday mornings throughout the semester. - Creates advertisements and graphics to grow the club on and off campus through social media. - Captures pictures and other content during outreaches to share the work being done on-site.
- Rotated shifts as a server, bartender, and beverage cart attendant at Rock Spring Golf Club. - Set up, served, and broke down banquet events including weddings, tournaments, and corporate outings, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. - Built relationships with regular guests, contributing to a welcoming, friendly, and engaging atmosphere. - Was responsible for upholding safety and sanitation standards in the workplace.
- Works in a Pre-k classroom setting of 15+ children to help teachers facilitate activities and lessons. - Leads one-on-one reading sessions with 1st grade students to advance their reading comprehension skills. - Works closely with neurodivergent students in the classroom to provide extra learning support.
