ASCTI is now part of NEXT Cooling and I have been with the company since its inception in 2018. I have been instrumental in driving its remarkable growth from the ground up. In under 7 years, we scaled the business from zero to ₹90 crore in revenue through a combination of strategic sales, brand positioning, global technology adoption, product differentiation, and niche market creation. Specialized in high-end technical selling, including new cooling towers, air-cooled condensers, modernization, and thermal performance upgrades. Collaborated with the sales management team to plan and implement effective sales strategies and set actionable goals. Established strong local partnerships in overseas markets such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia to drive new market development. Focused on large private sector players with multiple plant assets to secure long-term performance maintenance contracts, ensuring sustained revenue growth.
Had a long and impactful tenure with ENEXIO, leading sales and marketing for Induced and Natural Draft Wet Cooling Towers. The primary focus was on the power and process industry segments. Significantly enhanced brand positioning by securing and executing India’s largest Induced Draft Cooling Tower project (1,00,000 m³/hr capacity) for a leading private power conglomerate. Strategically transformed the business unit to focus on large-scale cooling towers, achieving major breakthroughs with key clients such as NTPC, L&T, Adani Power, and NCC. Drove aggressive marketing of advanced cooling technologies to targeted industrial clusters, particularly for sea water-based cooling tower applications.
Headed the business unit with full P&L responsibility for the sale of industrial and process gases in both bulk and packaged forms across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Spearheaded the division’s growth by focusing on application-based technology solutions to enhance profitability. Carved out a niche by introducing the concept of mini portable cryogenic systems for supplying liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen to targeted industrial segments. Played a pivotal role in converting high-usage clients of packaged Argon-CO₂ gas mixtures to adopt a bulk liquid Argon-CO₂ mixture system — a first of its kind in India — resulting in significant client cost savings and a substantial improvement in our plant loading factor.
Handled the water treatment business in Karnataka and parts of Tamil Nadu. Primary focus was on the pharmaceutical and food & beverage sectors, supplying value-added products such as Ultrafiltration and Reverse Osmosis systems. Key responsibilities included: a) Expanding the customer base through effective market penetration strategies b) Developing new channel partners in untapped territories c) Driving continuous business growth by maintaining a sustained focus on new customer acquisition and incentivizing channel partners
Started my career with Fuller India, which was later acquired by the Danish cement machinery giant FLSmidth. Initially involved in process engineering calculations, and later transitioned into the Marketing & Business Development team, managing key accounts such as Madras Cements and Chettinad Cements. As a self-starter, took on the challenge of promoting pyro-processing retrofits, particularly CIS/CFG cooler retrofits. Simultaneously handled various assignments related to turnkey cement plants and successfully secured the major project for Chettinad Cements' Ariyalur Line II.
