Responsible for Demand Planning and Forecasting for the Commercial Area Europe West (UK/Ireland and Benelux countries), and member of the European Demand Planning Leadership Team. The role includes the responsibility of 3 Demand Planning Teams located in Luton (UK), Alphen (NL) and Brussels (BE). In my role I facilitate the monthly and weekly Demand Planning cycle, enabling the Demand Planning Team Europe West striving for an excellent delivery performance to our customers and inventory levels meeting the financial targets by delivering a best-in-class demand forecast. Being the central communication point Europe West for operational and tactical forums (i.e. product launch/exit planning, supply and operational updates) I work closely with local stakeholders in Supply Planning/Logistics, Finance, Sales, Commercial and Product Line Teams, ensuring local priorities are captured and covered in the Demand Forecast Outlook. Other key accountabilities include liaising with all areas of Supply Chain and Sales Operations to resolve issues and practice continuous improvement. I lead the Demand Planning Team Europe West adapting to new tools, implementing process improvements and align the ways of working and processes across the teams and countries. As Manager of the Demand Planning Team Europe West, I coach and motivate the team to work as "One Team" with a focus on customer experience and business growth, and build up further their capabilities to work and make decisions independently. Responsible for the monthly Demand Planning and Purchase Order Forecasting cycle and processes at EU and BU level, based on the business inventory policy, in order to have the right product at the right location at the right time driving product availability rates up. I communicate the most accurate forecast to our internal key stakeholders and strategic suppliers supported by a highly engaged team of 3 EU Demand Planners and 1 EU Demand Planning Analyst, all reporting to me, and a strong collaboration with the teams in the local countries. This requires structured and efficient communication across all levels and across different departments in the organization. A pro-active approach and close collaboration with the Business and Supply Chain stakeholders through analyzing trends on Country and EU level, understand business activity and strategy, integrate in the forecast key market drivers and intelligence data, provide visibility and transparency on the Forecast Outlook and recommend areas of improving the accuracy of the Demand & PO Forecast performance. Another key accountability includes reporting monthly through a Service Scorecard the Forecast Performance, Demand Planning Operational Metrics (ao responsiveness on New and Product Changes, main forecast errors and root causes, product availability rates) and status on continuous improvement activities . In my role I also represent the European Demand & PO Forecasting Team in EU and Global Projects like S&OP/IBP implementation, Product & Supplier transitions, improving Product Life Cycle Management.
Responsible for the overall demand & supply management for EMEA Business Units through execution of SIOP processes. Engage and partner with World Wide Business Units, Supply Planning Teams and Regional Finance Organisation aligning the supply and demand with financial and business strategies.
