Project: - Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM Data Center) Below are my key Responsibilities. VMware • Installation & configuration of Linux as well as windows operating system. • Hands on experience in Migrating VCenter servers from one host to another. • Automated VM deployment and migration using Vmotion concepts. • Knowledge on Importing and exporting Virtual Machines in Vsphere and Vcenter • Worked on cloning, snapshot and OVF template creation. • Disk expansions, additions, and adding other hardware to virtual machines, Attaching and Detaching RDM for VMs. • Migration of Operating systems/servers. • ESXI O/S monitoring and management Vcenter User administration. Windows • Responsibilities includes handling Active Directory (User ID creation, password reset, providing access, ID lock/unlock & modification). On an average 25± IDs creation/password reset are done per week as per requirement. • Experienced on Service Management ticketing tool (Raising incidents as per requirements. Actively monitoring all pending tickets with the team to ensure timely resolution.) Weekly we are getting 20± service request. • Data center- Experienced in Data center management like Server health check, trouble shooting, configuration and monitoring. • Symantec Endpoint Protection (AV) - Fetching reports, updating the virus definition as per requirement. • For any hardware failure, will log the case with respective OEM. And coordinate with them for hardware replacement. • Based on requests from OEMs will collect HPES reports, system ILO/IML logs. • Configuration & troubleshooting of Microsoft Outlook.
