About

Growing up, I was inspired by the passion my parents had for medicine and the way they cared for people every day. That same drive started to grow in me during high school and continued through college, where I gained hands-on experience volunteering and working in different medical settings. These opportunities showed me the impact of empathy, communication, leadership, and teamwork in healthcare, and confirmed that I wanted to dedicate myself to a profession centered on helping others—no matter their circumstances. During nursing school, my experience in the ICU was especially transformative. It showed me the importance of critical thinking, adaptability, and doing everything possible to help patients heal and recover. That experience deepened my commitment to becoming the kind of nurse who not only provides excellent care, but also brings compassion and determination to every patient interaction.
