Director, screen writer, script consultant and editor Sari was born in France, in Cannes. After finishing her BA in ARTS at the Tel Aviv University, she began her career in consulting scripts. For the past ten years, she had given script consultations to hundreds of project, in different stage, from development to rough-cut stage: Amos Gitai and other well-known Israelis authors used her services. Most of those projects were produce successfully and screen in Berlin Festival, Venice Festival, Sundance Festival and others Festivals worldwide. As a prime lector and developer at Israeli Film Fund and for Israeli TV channels, she founded in 2008 her own company of consulting scripts - SCRIPTLIGHT - in intention to guide novice and professional filmmakers and allow a creative dialogue at every stage of the writing. From 2014 to 2017 Sari has been teaching her own method of writing and editing scripts in private courses, college and university. She is a script expert at PRODUIRE AU SUD workshops at Festival des 3 continents in Nantes and worldwide. She is a prime TV script editor as well as she developed and script edited the famous series Fauda - seasons 2,3 and 4, which as been shown worldwide on NETFLIX in 180 countries. And also the series Blackspace and Jerusalem also on Netflix. During the past 4 years she's been working on her first feature movie WAIT FOR ME and developing her own tv projects and movies.
Founder and manager of www.scriptlight.com, an international company based in Israel that specializes in script consulting and editing services. Sari teaches professional courses in writing intended for graduates of cinema and screenwriting studies. The courses are based on a writing and editing method that she developed called “The Script's journey”. This method provides tools that enable the author to write and edit his script while being aware of the components of his script. These days, Sari is completing the writing of her book in which her writing method is detailed.
